About Play the Korean

Welcome to Play the Korean.

I have over 13 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students as an English educator. Through those years, I learned one important truth: language is not memorized — it is experienced.

While teaching English, I constantly studied how students learn most effectively. How do beginners overcome fear? How can pronunciation become natural? What makes grammar easier to understand?

Now, I am applying those same teaching principles to Korean language learning.

Although I am not a certified Korean language instructor, I approach Korean education through structured methodology, clear explanations, and learner-centered practice — just as I have done for more than a decade in English education.

My Teaching Philosophy

✔ Simple but systematic explanations
✔ Repetition with meaning
✔ Real-life usage over memorization
✔ Building confidence step by step

This blog is designed especially for beginners who want to:

• Learn Hangul step by step
• Improve pronunciation
• Understand real Korean expressions
• Learn through music, culture, and everyday sentences

Every lesson is carefully designed with practical learning in mind. I research daily, refine materials, and continuously improve each lesson to make Korean accessible and enjoyable.

My goal is simple: to help learners feel confident, not overwhelmed.

Thank you for visiting Play the Korean. I hope this space becomes a helpful companion in your Korean learning journey.
